Effective date: 19 August 2026 Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Oppidu mobile application and the Oppidu service.
In these terms, "Oppidu", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator of the Oppidu service, identified in §18.
Operator / Service Provider
Praveenkumar Mohan Cloudzigs Technologies 6/99, Indian Colony, Magudanchavadi, Salem – 637103, Tamil Nadu, India Email: cloudzigs51@gmail.com
Oppidu is operated by Praveenkumar Mohan under the business name Cloudzigs Technologies. Oppidu is published on Google Play under the developer name Cloudzigs.
By creating an Oppidu account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Oppidu.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract under Indian law. Oppidu is currently offered in India only.
You must also be permitted, under the terms of any third-party service you connect, to access that service the way Oppidu does — see §6.
The app does not verify your age. Using Oppidu is your confirmation that you meet these requirements.
You create an account with an email address and a password.
cloudzigs51@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We store your password only as a cryptographic hash and cannot recover it for you.
You also choose a display name. It is shown to other users next to your community posts and comments (§8A). A display name cannot contain links or email addresses, and names reserved for Oppidu — for example "Oppidu", "support" or "admin" — are refused. You can change it in your profile.
Oppidu lets you connect accounts you already hold with grocery, food-delivery and ride providers, and compare what they offer.
Searching happens on your device. When you connect a provider, you sign in to that provider inside the app, and the session stays on your phone. Oppidu then queries that provider directly from your device using your own session.
Two consequences follow, and both are limits on what we can promise:
1. Oppidu is not a party to anything you buy. We do not sell goods, take payment, fulfil orders or deliver anything. Purchases happen with the provider, under the provider's terms. 2. Oppidu shows you what a provider told your device. We do not set or control prices, availability, delivery times, fees or promotions.
Oppidu is currently free to use. We do not charge you and we do not process payments.
Oppidu also offers Community, where signed-in users read and share reviews. §8A sets out its rules.
We try to show information faithfully, but we do not warrant that it is accurate, current or complete. Prices and availability change, providers change how they publish information, and an integration can break without notice.
We do not guarantee that a price shown is the price you will be charged, that an item shown as available can be bought, that a delivery or ride will happen or arrive when estimated, or that any provider integration will work at any given time.
Always confirm the final price and details with the provider before you buy.
Oppidu is provided on an "as available" basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
Your relationship with each provider is between you and them, governed by their terms and privacy policy. Oppidu is not their agent and does not act on their behalf.
You are responsible for using your provider accounts in a way those providers permit. If a provider's terms prohibit the kind of access Oppidu performs, it is your responsibility not to connect it.
The app may open a provider's own app or website so you can complete a purchase. Once you leave Oppidu, that provider's terms apply.
The app sends us diagnostic information about failures — see the Privacy Policy.
If you use Report an issue, you send us a description you have written. You:
We may remove content that breaches these terms.
You agree not to:
Signed-in users can post reviews of apps, products, restaurants, dishes and rides (and, once that feature is switched on, Instagram sellers), comment on posts and reply to comments, like posts, report posts and comments, and block other users. To post, edit, comment, like or report you need a verified email address. Before your first post, comment or photo, the app asks you to accept these terms; you cannot post until you do.
When you post, comment or reply:
These rules apply to everything you submit to Community, including photos (§8A.7).
Breaching these rules can also lead to suspension or termination under §9.
You are responsible for what you post, including your display name and photos, and you confirm that you have the right to post it. You keep ownership of your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize, display to other users and moderate it, solely to operate Community, for as long as it remains posted and while copies remain in our backups (Privacy Policy §9).
Oppidu does not verify posts. A post is its author's opinion, not Oppidu's, and we do not guarantee that it is accurate.
Published posts, comments and photos are visible to other signed-in Oppidu users looking at the same area (or the same city, when their area has no posts yet), with your display name — the Privacy Policy (§4.9) lists exactly what is shown. If you block a user, you no longer see their posts and comments. Blocking does not stop them from seeing yours, and they are not told. You can unblock someone in Profile → Blocked people. Once switched on, reviews of Instagram sellers are visible to all signed-in Oppidu users.
You can edit or delete your posts, delete your comments and replies, and remove photos from your posts, at any time — from the post itself or from Profile → Your posts. Deleting a post also deletes the comments and replies under it, including other users' comments. Deleting a comment also deletes the replies to it. Deleting your account deletes all of your community content — see https://oppidu.in/account-deletion.
Photo sharing is not switched on yet. When it is, you will be able to add up to four photos to a post. Each photo must follow the rules in §8A.2, is checked automatically for adult or nude content, and is published only if it passes that check. The Privacy Policy (§4.10) explains how photos are processed.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if we reasonably believe your use puts the service, other users or a provider at risk, or if we are required to by law.
You may stop using Oppidu at any time. Account deletion is described at https://oppidu.in/account-deletion; both in the app and by email. Deletion is permanent — see also Privacy Policy §10.
Oppidu, including the app, the service and its content, is owned by the operator identified in §18 and protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
Provider names, logos and content belong to their respective owners. Their appearance in Oppidu does not imply endorsement or affiliation. The same applies to Instagram: Oppidu is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Map data and imagery are provided by Google and by the OpenStreetMap Foundation and remain theirs.
Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oppidu is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of Oppidu.
We are not liable for any act or omission of a provider, including pricing, availability, order fulfilment, delivery, refunds or the quality of anything you buy.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to Oppidu is limited to INR 1,000. Oppidu is free to use, so you pay us nothing and a sum-paid cap would be nil.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of Oppidu, or your breach of a provider's terms or of any law.
This does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our own breach or negligence.
We may change these terms. We will update the "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Oppidu after a change means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
The courts at Salem, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where consumer protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings where you live.
If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the business.
For any question about these terms, contact Oppidu at cloudzigs51@gmail.com.
